Premiéra nového filmu Na divoké vlně (Chasing Mavericks) dorazí na plátna kin již 22. listopadu. Životní příběh talentovaného surfaře Jaya Moriartyho nikoho nenechá v klidu. V hlavní roli se můžete těšit na Johnnyho Westona a Gerarda Butlera, adrenalin, odhodlání a nebezpečí.

Mavericks. Pro většinu lidí jen báchorka o neskutečně vysokých vlnách, které přichází jednou za 7 až 10 let, avšak pro vyvolené šance pokořit přírodu a ještě si to pořádně užít.
Patnáctiletý Jay je oddaný surfování a od dětství obdivuje svého souseda a místní legendu Rickyho “Frosty“ Hessona. Jednoho dne se Jay dozví o Mavericks a rozhodnut nenachat nic náhodě, přemluví nakonec Frostyho, aby ho začal trénovat. Frostyho cílem však není naučit Jaya zdolat vlny, nýbrž ho naučit alespoň je přežít…

Trenéra Frostyho si ve snímku Na divoké vlně zahrál Gerard Butler, který se předvedl ve skvělé kondici. Mladého a pohledného Jaya ztvárnil Jonny Weston a v dalších rolích se představily třeba Elisabeth Shue nebo Abigail Spencer.
Scénáristé Michael Apted a Curtis Hanson dodali filmu akci, drama, ale také jemný humor. Ostatně jsou to právě tito tvůrci, od kterých pochází díla jako 8.míle nebo Letopisy Narnie: Plavba jitřního poutníka. Režie se zhostili Kario Salem, Jim Meenaghan a Brandon Hooper. Hudbu k filmu složil Chad Fisher.
Příběh Jaya Moriartyho, který se stal legendou už v šestnácti letech, zasáhl nejen stát Kalifornie, ale celý surfařský svět. Ve filmu Na divoké vlně se zrcadlí láska k nezkrotným vlnám a vodnímu surfingu. Film je zkrátka podívanou, která nadchne nejen sportovce a milovníky adrenalinu, ale také romantiky a snílky. Film Na divoké vlně, s podtitulem „Když si hraješ s živly… může se stát, že si živly pohrají s tebou.“, se zcela jistě rychle dostane na přední příčky sledovanosti. Jediným jeho vylepšením by se mohla stát snad jen projekce ve 3D, díky které byste si Mavericks mohli zkusit sjet sami…
